Instructions For Use:
(a) Delivery & Storage: Promonta blocks are supplied in packages and/or on pallets, protected by plastic sheeting shrink-wrapped. They should be stacked in a dry location on the site.
(b) Installation & Finishing: As far as possible, Promonta gypsum blocks should be used after the building is glazed and watertight. Promonta gypsum blocks with special tongue and groove joints are connected together using Promontine gypsum adhesive into a continuous mass. The specially adapted tongue and groove connection ensures that a flat wall is obtained which requires no further work. Drilling for electricity and sanitary lines is very simple, and after they have been installed the openings are sealed with plaster, where necessary mixed with Promontine adhesive. The joint with the ceiling is filled with a flexible filler or a mix of plaster and Promontine adhesive.
With Promonta gypsum blocks you can build strong and solid walls with ease. Thanks to the patented Promonta system with special tongued and grooved connections, the blocks are quickly, simply and accurately laid.
The perfectly smooth surface of the Promonta blocks makes plastering unnecessary. With their acoustic insulation, they have pronounced noise-dampening properties. The thermal insulation affect of Promonta blocks produces high-energy savings.
Promonta gypsum blocks are 100% fire safe. With a thickness of 10cm, they are fire resistant for more than 4 hours. Promonta gypsum blocks breathe, and thus give optimal humidity regulation. Once installed, they can be quickly finished. Paintwork, wallpaper, tiles and sprayed finishes can now be applied. The products very high mechanical resistance means that even heavy objects can be secured to it.
