GENERIX readily accommodates natural real wood as a rainscreen system, the timber panels are inserted extremely efficiently with no need for any mechanical anchors, drilling or screwing of the product. The real wood that Timberscape offers gives the specifier the opportunity to mix and match several different formats, types and textures. There is a wide variety of timbers available to a module height of 292mm (grid 300mm), this in turn allows the wood to be manufactured to the same grid as terracotta, metal, granite & natural stone rainscreens. The zone of the cladding may be adjusted in or out to accommodate different thickness’ of panel types. |

Cedar has always been one of natures more versatile, adaptable and attractive species of timber for building, cladding, decking and shingles. The rich warm colour and texture of Cedar gives any building inside or out a touch of individuality that blends with the environment. One of Cedars most valuable characteristics is well known high resistance to decay, it is one of the most durable coniferous species and can be relied upon to give long and trouble free service under most conditions.

Finishes & Treatment
Cedar can be left untreated if required which will turn “Silvery Grey” in colour and will also accept clear and pigmented finishes very well indeed. To keep the “Cedar” appearance then a pigmented surface coating must be applied.
Cedar can also be CCA treated when used in ground contact or damp conditions, class 1 or O.F.R. rating can also be achieved.
