The project which was designed by Haworth Tompkins Architects included areas where the Architects had a novel idea to produce an unusual but attractive toothed effect in the main front external and part internal walls of the building. Special shaped bricks from Belgium were used in conjunction with a thin bed brick adhesive to achieve an intense ripple effect to the masonry areas.
For further details of this project or for other ideas of unusual shaped bricks please contact your local NBS office.
