"Wavy" Facing Bricks for Young Vic Theatre

NBS have recently supplied some unusual “wavy” facing bricks for a refurbishment project at the Young Vic Theatre in London. The project which was designed by Haworth Tompkins Architects and included areas where the Architects had a novel idea to produce an unusual but attractive toothed effect in the main front external and part internal walls of the building. Special shaped bricks from Belgium were used in conjunction with a thin bed brick adhesive to achieve an intense ripple effect to the masonry areas.
